Our Story
In 2015, we knew something had to change. Caleb, a qualified carpenter, had been working on local building sites and had realised customers were paying premium prices for poorly made shutters that were heavy and imported. As supporters of local businesses and quality products, we knew there had be to be better alternatives, and we were determined to find them. Before we knew it, Riverina Plantation Shutters (now Riverina Interiors) was born.
We started our business by focusing on providing high quality, custom-made plantation shutters but our range quickly grew to include blinds, curtains, and other fabric finishes. Today, we focus on providing high quality window furnishings with boutique details and premium finishes. We pride ourselves on sourcing our products from local suppliers that are Australian-made and fully comply with Australian government regulations and standards.
As our business has evolved, so has the way we showcase our products to customers. In 2024 we opened our new showroom, full of products, ideas, and samples, as we believe in giving customers a personalised experience. That includes letting customers see and feel our products, and experience the difference our service has to offer. We welcome our clients to explore how our shutters, blinds, and curtains would look in their home, and how the options make them feel. It’s important to us that our customers are happy and confident with their choices by seeing each window furnishing first-hand, rather than just a picture online, or trusting someone’s word in their home. We like to see our customers smile and see the happiness in their faces. It’s why we opened Riverina Interiors, and are still loving it 10 years later!
